Our Mission

Replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools with a single unified platform for maritime crew and fleet operations.

“Maritime organizations manage crews, fleets, and compliance with spreadsheets and disconnected tools. SeaRM replaces them with a single unified platform.”

Why We Build

Maritime organizations juggle crew applications, skill assessments, voyage planning, document compliance, and fleet maintenance across disconnected tools. SeaRM consolidates everything into a 33-table, 63-endpoint platform.

We saw operations teams forced to use spreadsheets and generic CRMs to manage crew pipelines, track sea time, and monitor document expirations. These tools cannot model the relationships that maritime operations demand.

What We Believe

We believe the maritime industry deserves software built with the same precision as the ships it manages. Software where a crew member isn't a “contact,” a voyage isn't a “deal,” and skill ratings aren't just “tags.”

We also believe this software should be open source and MIT licensed. Maritime is a global industry, and the tools that serve it should be transparent, extensible, and deployable anywhere -- Vercel, Docker, or self-hosted.

Our Values

What Guides Us

Maritime-Native

We don't adapt generic solutions. Every decision is made through the lens of maritime operations, from data models to user interfaces.

Transparency

Open source isn't just a license -- it's a commitment. Every line of code, every decision, and every roadmap item is visible to the community.

Community-Driven

Built by maritime professionals, for maritime professionals. Feature priorities come from the people who use the software daily.

Extensible by Design

Widget builder for external data views, extension system with event hooks and cron jobs, and 63 API endpoints for custom integrations.

Production-Ready

33 database tables, role-based access with 4 tiers, email automation, data export, and deployment support for Vercel, Docker, and PM2.

Reliability

Maritime operations run 24/7 across all time zones. SeaRM is built for uptime, data integrity, and operational continuity.
